Ken brings over 30 years of engineering and construction experience from a wide variety of industrial manufacturing environments. His knowledge and direct experience in designing and constructing advanced technology facilities enables him to provide clients with real world, pertinent understanding and advanced planning capabilities for their corporate facility strategies. Ken is currently consulting on projects ranging from buy/build decisions, renovation considerations and estimates, and entire business sale strategies. He has also worked extensively in successful renewable energy programs including solar, wind, nuclear, and fuel cells. Currently Ken works on industry recovery and changes associated with the COVID-19
pandemic and immediate issues facing his clients. He has worked in all major geographies including North/South America, India, China, South East Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

Ken has worked at Top 10 Global E|P|C firms including CH2M Hill, M+W Group, Day & Zimmerman, and Wood Group Mustang. With these firms, Ken led advanced technology and advanced manufacturing projects globally in a wide variety of markets.  He currently serves on the Advisory Services Group with Binswanger, a global commercial real estate firm. His early career included work with Lockheed Martin as a Space Shuttle Systems Engineer, where he worked 42 successful launch missions and was a member of the Return to Flight Team after the Challenger accident grounded the fleet.

 

Ken holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and a Master of Science Degree in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Ken is also a licensed Georgia Real Estate Agent.

Tim is a global project and construction manager delivering cost saving and revenue growth solutions across the pulp and paper, life sciences and chemical manufacturing and construction industries. He is an expert at supervising multimillion dollar projects, developing winning bid proposals, and maximizing employee performance. Tim is recognized by clients for embarking on underperforming projects that deliver unprecedented results. He has successfully led teams of >1,200 employees and projects valued at $250M.

Tim has a wide range of expertise including team management , performance evaluations, bid proposal development, risk analysis, quality & operations process development, maintenance & construction project management, budget development, training & coaching, OSHA & MSHA compliance & regulations, and change management.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering, Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY.

Michael brings over 30 years of industrial engineering experience in facility design and process improvement in manufacturing and construction industries.  His understanding of the dynamics of factory processes drives rational, fact-based design decisions and productivity improvements.

 

Michael has extensive experience utilizing simulations of production and other business processes to identify constraints and other design drivers, as well as to validate design options. He has also utilized Lean & Six Sigma concepts to improve productivity and quality and to reduce costs.

 

Michael has worked as a consultant at a variety of firms including CH2M Hill, with projects in photovoltaics, semiconductors, aerospace, biotechnology, food production, and truck manufacturing, among others. 

 

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and a Master of Science degree in Operations Research, both from the University of California at Berkeley. He has been a board member and president of the Work Systems division of the Institute for Industrial and Systems Engineering​​.
